So, over the weekend we had such nice weather that we took a trip out on the Harley and had some seafood. Phillip and I also ended up getting engaged
I’m soooo excited! I’ll post a real blog laaaater! AH!

Fist of all thank you everyone for your sweet comments!
Wow! So, I haven’t got to blog for a little bit because…. I GET TO DECORATE! *lol* After painting all the walls and everything else, I finally get to make it like I want it. I decided to go with warm tones and make it feel cozy yet “romantic” . This may be totally boring to all of you but this was SO much fun to do for me. Last weekend we decided to do the master bathroom. If you have a home emporium near you, CHECK IT OUT! They have really neat stuff for such good prices! Here is what I came up with on our budget. The walls are beige (kind of hard to tell in the pictures.)

Basket $1.99, Boxes $3.00, wash cloths $2.00 for 12, scented sticks & bottle $5.00

Shower curtain $12.00, Rug $6.00

Light fixtures $20.00 each

Mirror $6.00 Chest $4.00
I get a lot of questions since most of my posts are reviews or like the post above. So I thought I would just answer them here instead of having to be slow to reply to each one because this is a pretty busy work week for me. I LOVE reading your comments and email! You guys are the best
xoxo
1. What foundation do you use on your face, it always looks so clear.
I do not use foundation. I think that foundation is horrible for people with sensitive skin (like me) so I use mineral makeup (powder) it is light on your skin and it really makes your skin look and feel clear and almost as if you have nothing on.
2. Where are you originally from?
I am a west coast girl!
San diego, CA. and Lake havasu city, AZ….so the weather here (Virginia) has been a huge change!
3. What do you drive?
I drive a 2008 Dodge, Avenger . I donno…I love it!
4. What do you do for fun on your days off.
Well right now it is fixing up our new place but we have a Harley so we ride that (on warm sunny days) we like to go for long trips some place fun to eat. So, that is our fun
5. What are you wearing for St. Patrick’s day.
hrrrrmmmm… I don’t really have to wear any green, never had to… because I have really green eyes
but I am half irish so, I am sure I will do something.

I never had long hair until about 7 months ago. My hair has always been about shoulder length and I have always wanted long hair. The only problem was… my hair would grow SOOOO SLOOOW. I tried all the shampoos that said your hair will grow etc. and never worked for me. Then one of my girlfriends turned me on to a few vitamins. So, if you have the same problem I had, this should do the trick. Now my hair and nails grow super fast. I will tell you about a few different ones. If anyone knows of a better one, Please share! I would love to know about it!

The first one I got from GNC and was a little more expensive but that is because it is more for your whole body. If you are very active and into fitness and sports, then I would go with this one. It is called Women’s ultra mega active, It is the one in the white bottle. Normally with vitamins you can see results in 2 /3 weeks. The other is Hair, skin, and nails and I got it at Walgreens but you can get it at CVS I think also.It was like $9 and I noticed results fast. As far as hair goes… I would use hair, skin, and nails.
Ok, I fell behind for a week with my workout because I haven’t found the time for the gym
I have been eating horrible lately too! So, today I started back with my workout and for the time being it will have to be a home workout…bust out the ball, mat, and weights! At Least when I workout I can pretty much eat what I want (the good stuff *lol*)

As far as what I do for a routine…I’m not this know- it- all about fitness or anything *lol* I just know what has been working for me. I run (if the weather is nice) do tummy crunches, weights, and squats every other day. The days in between I do power or strengthening yoga. I learned how to do a lot from Kim Strother ’s videos.
Someone asked me about workout fashions…because you wanna look cute an feel good too right?
I always buy fromOtomix and bebe sport. Otomix has some really cute pants, sports bras, an tops. Bebe Sport just has some HOT stuff! I love Bebe Sport.
How was your Valentine’s Day?? I hope everyone had a happy one!
My Valentine got me some flowers, white chocolate, and Paint shop pro X2. We just ended up picking up dinner, wine, watched a few movies, and had some AWESOME CAKE (see below) OMG! It was so good!
Lots of white Chocolate because I am allergic to Dark Chocolate (I know ladies, It blows)
I met my Valentine about 10 months ago. We have only spent 24 hours apart since the day we met. We love spending time together. It just clicks! We both moved here the same time, from the same place, and have been right there next to the other our whole lives an not even know it, CRAZY! On here I don’t really talk much about who Phillip is because I could go on an on*lol* He is such a great guy. He is a Marine (Staff SGT) been in for 12 years, has been through 4 long deployments to Iraq, and now he is an instructor for the next 2 years to the new Marines( Kind of like a break). Then it is back to California for us.

Warm cakes with melted white chocolate in the middle,
vanilla ice cream, and strawberry sauce. OMG!!!!!!

and BAM! YUMMO!

* Good to hear everything is OK Lindsie ! GET WELL SOON GIRL!
I haven’t got to really blog in a few days. We were extra busy during the end of the week and weekend. So, what’s new? Here is a photo review.

It snowed again, just not as much covered the ground this time.

I got a new silver, sony, cyber-shot to take better pictures!

Love it! It takes really good pictures!

We got a 50 inch plasma T.V and stand.

The kitchen and the living room went from dark brown to…

…Bonjour beige. Now the rooms look bigger and brighter!
About a year and a half ago my father was diagnosed with brain cancer. If I were sitting here talking to you face to face, I wouldn’t even be able to talk to you about this because I would be balling my eyes out.
My father and I were very close. We would talk every day! If I had a problem, dad was the one I would call and he would make every problem seem so small. He told the best jokes and brought up the best conversations. He was VERY hard working and did whatever he could to help anyone in need.
I think it was about 3 years ago I started noticing something wasn’t right. He would forget things very easy (my dad is only 52) he has always been VERY smart and very sharp so, it worried me a little. He was getting headaches and his vision was getting worse. I said something to my mother about it and she agreed but being that he worked full time with his very busy business, he put his heath on the back burner like many busy adults do! Regrettably,I ended up having to move from Lake havasu city, Az. to Virginia (allllllll the way on the other side of the states) while I was away, his heath got worse and after many doctor visits he was brought in for emergency surgery (3 weeks before Christmas) for a brain tumor that had pushed his brain all the way to the left side of his skull. For 8 hours we thought he wouldn’t even make it out alive because of what the doctor had told us. He also warned us that if he made it out alive that his speech would be gone because of where the tumor was located.
After 8 hours they brought him out and we sat with him praying, pacing, and praying some more. After 4 hours, he finally woke up. To our surprise, he could speak… not very well but he could put some words together. He could speak but sadly he had lost his eyesight permanently. My mother and I spent 8 weeks in the hospital with him. We slept on cots and ate hospital and fast food. Christmas dinner was hospital food. Watching him go through tests and physical therapy, learning how to eat again and how to sit up and then walk again. The day we got to bring him home was a very emotional day. I think I cried more that day then I had ever cried in my whole life. He then had to go through 8 weeks of radiation and kemo. Lost all of his hair, was very weak, and was in bed most of the time. As of today, my dad is blind but can speak and think on about a 3rd grade level. Last Thursday, my mother brought him in for his regular MRI scan and this time they found something again. NOW, we knew from the day he made it out of surgery that it was the kind of Brain cancer that grows like a weed all in his brain and they would not be able to get everything out during surgery, that there would be a chance it could grow back one day. I guess I just really hoped and prayed that after he got rid of it the first time that that was it, that god wouldn’t put us through that again.
All my fears of losing my dad are back again! In 1 month he goes in again for an MRI to see if it has changed and if it has …we go from there. Hug, kiss, and tell your loved ones every day that you love them!
Anyone who needs a laugh and something to lift their spirits…try this-
Call the Nestle Crunch Hot line at 1-800-295-0051 (This may take several attempts if the line is busy). When you are asked if you want to continue in English or Spanish, just wait quietly for about 10 seconds and you will smile. Promise! Keep going and press 4. Listen to the options…then press 7. ha!!
Phew...FINALLY, we got everything done... for the most part. Since I
didn't get to blog last night all we did was make some pasta, drink some
wine, watch a movie, and RELAX! It was awesome! I hope we don't have to
move for a while. I guess we are suppose to get more snow tonight...AHHHH!
Mr. Tough guy not wearing a coat...whatever man!
So we got all moved but still unpacking. WHAT A MESS! We ended up having
to move in the snow! It is really pretty to look at but really shitty to
move in *lol* While we were going down the road we seen a dude on a
scooter...Yeah, A scooter (see pic) Seeing him like that reminded me of
something off of failblog.org *lol* All I could think was "FAIL". I think
we got about 8 or 9 inches here in Chesapeake. Anyways, pictures below. I
will probably do another blog tonight.

Anyone for a swim??? *lol*

The scooter at a stop light.

I could not wait to take off my boots!
I am so excited for this weekend! We are
finally moving into our new place! Phillip
and I have lived in this room for almost 7
months together, until we got set up (we just moved
to Virginia beach) We are moving into a 2 bedroom house. I am
most excited for our huge bedroom and my closet that is the size of
Texas *lol* I will post pics of the new place when we get all unpacked.
So, last night I had a cam chat with my friend Jenn!GOD, I haven't
talked to her in FOREVER! I took some pics during it, and since
everyone always tells me to add more CAM pics... I will post them here.
Sorry they are kinda dark, I was in bed. Have a great weekend!!! <3

02. NIVEA GOOD-BYE CELLULITE PATCHES, $11.99. Two patches per night
yield smoother-looking thighs by morning.
03. BOURJOIS EAU DE GLOSS, $15. Shiny lips minus the stickiness.
04. L'OREAL SKIN GENESIS DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF 15, $24.99.
Hydrating hyaluronic acid.
05. CLINIQUE EVEN BETTER SKIN TONE CORRECTOR, $39.50. This
spot-erasing serum is light enough to layer under your favorite

06. SMASHBOX PHOTO FINISH PRIMER, $36. Even when I'm having
one of those days, this guarantees me a peaches-and-cream,
airbrushed-looking complexion.
A lot of people ask about my skin and how I keep it clear. First of all
THANKS! *lol* but the First tip I will give is DRINK LOTS OF WATER. I
drink lots and lots of water. Next thing I always make sure I do is wash
my face every night before bed and when I wake up. So, I use a kit called
dermanew (see image below) it is AMAZING! It runs about $70.00 to $80.00
but is totally worth every penny! I think right now they are offering
free shipping so, jump on it. You will love it and the way it makes your
face feel! It is SO relaxing! Your skin will be smooth and clear!
You canfind it here.
4th I use mineral makeup. I was recently turned on to Stript mineral
Make-up. I LOVE makeup and love to try new brands and kits. My friend
Stephanie told me about Stript and I LOVE it! I love the colors and the
way your skin looks and feels, plus the kit is super cute! If you like
trying new kits you should try Stript makeup! You can find it here.
A random tip I tell the girls is to try eyeshadow primer, before
you apply your eyeshadow. You will notice a world of difference
when you apply your eyeshadows. I use to use urban decay, but the tube
it comes in isn't the best to deal with. Too faced is the same price,
does the same thing, but is so much easier to apply and you won't have
any go to waste! You can find it here.
Thank you everyone so so so much for the Birthday wishes!![]()
I start my new job tomorrow! YAY! This will help out so much with
moving into the new place and all the new bills (boooo!). So,
looking forward to tomorrow. I am also looking forward to tonight.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! DAMN, I am getting ooold...wow, time just flew by.
I was looking at pictures from a year ago and it is amazing how much
people change in just a year! Anyways, tonight is Sushi, good friends,
and we are going to see a movie, not sure what movie yet.
Hope everyone has a good night!![]()
I am so bored at work today ahhhhhhh.....So, I did the whole
"What is in your bag?" thing and HERE is what is in Jay's
Candies bag. This is what I keep with me on a daily basis.
2 things of lip gloss
mineral makeup powder
eye liner
gum
nail file
wallet
headache pills
Ipod
Keys
Body Spray

Yesterday I wrote about how much I love candy *lol* but I also eat a lot
of fruit and healthy stuff, kind of even myself out I guess. For a
while now I have been told over and over to try a Grapple. Anyone
who has never heard of it or never had one, it is all in the name! It
smells like a grape and tastes like a grape but still has the crunch of
an apple. Yeah, It is weird but it tastes pretty good! Try one!![]()
My name is Jacenda... and I am a candy addict! *lol* Every Sunday is
my relax day. Basically, In true bum style *lol* I just relax on the
couch with my laptop and my favorite candy. I love it so much that
I have had to make Sunday my one day a week for candy *lol*
I am allergic to chocolateI really really hate it sometimes
but I really think that if I wasn't, I would be like 500 lbs.
So, the countdown has begun for moving day! Woohoo! 2 more weeks!
We live with one of my boyfriend's best friends. We love Bryan, but
we reeeeallly need our own space! It just happens to land around the
same time as my Birthday (Jan 14Th) so it will be an awesome b day gift!
Pictures of the new place will be up soon! I just bought some really
cute wall sayings from Trading Phrases. Check it out if you are
looking for a cute way to dress up your walls!
I recently did a photo shoot for Lizzy Kay photography along with a few
other models. Lizzy Kay is mostly Art modeling. I LOVE her work but really
don't like my head shotA few people knew about the shoot, so there is the image.
I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. I just spend
seeeeeriously an hour at failblog.org FUUUUUNNNYYYY!!!
I have been inspired to do video blogs, plus I love to tawlk...
haaahaaa so, video blogs soon!![]()
I am sooo ready for the weekend *lol* I can't even tell you how happy I am
that it is Friday!!! Work was pretty boring all week. I never really
have anything to say about it *lol* I work with numbers all day,
that = BORING!SO, I have been getting emails with questions about
makeup and beauty tips and all that. I reeeeallly love to find new
products and read beauty secrets. If you want a lot of good tips and
videos. I LOVE to watch Kandee Johnson's beauty videos. If you have
no idea who she is, Kandee is a makeup artist. You can find her blog and
you can find all her videos here. I am going to post my favorite
Kandee videos below. Isn't she gorgeous??She is a huge sweetie!
I learn a lot and get a lot of tips from her. Check her out!
A few of my favorite beauty products...
01. WetnWild lip liner - Though cheap, happens to be one of few
brands of lip liners I use. Even happens to be a pick of the pro's!
02. Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush® lip gloss - My favorite lip gloss
e v e r! I'm a Victoria's Secret freak. I love the colors of
the gloss, the shine, and it makes your lips look fuller, and that
is always a big plus.
03. Maybelline colossal Mascara - Don't ya just love those mascara
commercials that promise big, thick lashes, and even though the model
in the commercial is wearing fake lashes, you still fall for it?
Ya go out, ya get some, and bring it home to find out *SURPRISE*,
it does nothing they say it does....or is that just my dumb ass?
Anyways, THIS ONE** really works.Add a light coat of mascara,
blow dry eyelash curler, curl eyelashes, and add another, thicker
coat of mascara.
04. Victoria's Secret Dream Angels, Desire- Yes, more Victoria's Secret.
I just love that it isn't a really strong scent. It smells clean,
and very pretty. Plus I know my boyfriend really likes it, he just
bought me more for Christmas.
05. MAC Makeup remover - A+! Before I found this, I had tried a lot
of removers with shitty results! Most don't remove the waterproof
mascara. Lotion on a baby wipe did better than they did.
This one costs a little more, but it really is one of the best ones.
06. John Frieda Luminous color glaze - Shower use. Shampoo on
(real or dyed), giving a hint of color and lots of sexy shine! I Love it!
A few weeks ago I really started working out and lifting weights, really
trying to tone my whole body. I don't want to be all BUFF and HUGE *lol*
I have always been super skinny. I was born without any baby fat,
was always so tiny, and SCRAWNY! I'm so sick of it! So, I am trying to
get toned. I have always been a runner. I run almost e v e r y d a y
but I am really kicking up my workout. I was TOTALLY stupid for starting
right before the holiday *DUH JAY*. So this is one of my goals for 2010!
Today something really got under my skin! It happened 3 times to me today.
FIRST time I opened the door for a couple at one of my favorite stores
and they didn't say thank you, just walked by me, didn't even acknowledge
me...OK, whatever...SECOND time I was at the checkout, said "hello,
how are you today" just looked at me, took my money and didn't bother
saying anything like "Thank you, have a nice day", DOES ANYONE SAY
THAT ANYMORE? THIRD time I had to call and make a doctors appointment
and the rudest secretary answered an acted like it was a total bother
I had called to make an appointment. My girlfriends say "maybe they
were going through something" Yeah, you know, EVERYONE is going
through something right now, it really isn't an excuse for people to
be rude to one another! ANYWAYS, Anyone got any big plans for tonight?
I guess to avoid being on the roads tonight, we are just going to have
a small party here at the house and just watch movies, make dinner, wine,
and I am going to attempt to make mini cheese cakes with cherries,
blueberries, and strawberries...WISH ME LUCK! *lol*
EVERYONE HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!![]()
